Rich is a senior sales executive who has been building companies and sales teams his entire life. He sold his first business upon graduating from high school, which funded both his undergrad and graduate education. Rich’s passion is sales and helping companies to build and implement profitable growth strategies.
Rich has built scalable and repeatable go to market sales strategies for several companies, each time resulting in significant growth. His particular strength is in recruiting, hiring and training world class sales teams that achieve quota. He has managed teams that ranged from a dozen to over 180 salespeople that drover over $300M in revenue and he has been responsible for all sales channels, including inside sales, field sales, online sales, and third party reseller channels.
Dr. Corr is a leader in R&D, product management, product development, germplasm acquisition, and technical consulting for world-class horticultural and agricultural companies. He has experience with research and development related to ornamental plants, row crops (corn, soybeans, etc.) and specialty crops (cannabis fruits and vegetables).
Carlos is an experienced agribusiness manager with a strong emphasis on finance, logistics and international business. Carlos graduated with a degree in political science from the University of the Andes, one of Colombia’s top universities. Carlos has over a decade of experience managing large, complex logistics and cargo transport operations. He also has extensive knowledge as an agribusiness executive responsible for the operations, financial management and human resources aspects of a profitable commercial dairy company.
John Leja is a medical cannabis investor and serial entrepreneur with 5 years experience in the industry. John is the former CEO and COO of PharmaCannis, a U.S. based medical marijuana company with over 240,000 sf. of cultivation and production facilities, and eight retail facilities, in Illinois and New York. While there, he was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s mission, vision, strategy, planning and structure and raising capital in excess of $45 million. Areas of oversight included: licensing, manufacturing and retail operations, regulatory compliance and security, human resources, finances, marketing/sales and new market development.
Co-founded Starchup, one of the largest logistics SaaS platforms in the laundry industry. Daniel also co-founded and managed two other startups in the information security and payment systems industries. Prior to becoming a serial entrepreneur Daniel worked as attorney at Latham & Watkins in London, England, specializing in leveraged finance, representing banking syndicates. Before law, school Daniel served in the US Army as an infantryman in a Reconnaissance platoon, and completed a combat tour in Iraq. Daniel was born in Medellin, Colombia and moved to the United States at the age of seven, graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Political Science, and obtained his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
As an attorney appointed by the Governor of Illinois as the first Director of the Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program, Joseph guided the most-highly regulated cannabis program in the United States from its infancy. Joseph successfully implemented the program within six months of assuming the role of Director, authorizing Illinois’ first legal sales of cannabis. During Joseph’s tenure, the program grew exponentially; Illinois’ patient population expanded by 300% and retail sales recorded constant increases, surpassing $3 million per month.
